William "Bill" Wegge attended Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduated with his bachelor's degree in 1964. He worked in the field of defense mapping before attending and graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1979. Bill practiced law as a solo practitioner in DeSoto and later became a partner in a law firm in Hillsboro. While practicing law, he was the municipal judge of DeSoto and a contract public defender. Bill was later elected judge in Jefferson County in 1993, and held the position of Associate Circuit Judge in Jefferson County for 16 years. After retiring from the bench, he went back to practicing law in Hillsboro for a number of years. Bill has resided in Jefferson County for more than 50 years, raising all three of his children here along with his wife, Nancy. Bill presently serves as of counsel with Wegge & Casey, P.C., due to his wide spectrum of legal experience.
